The Bridge of Sighs during a Venice night.
This was a very quiet evening in Venice, and the romanticism of days gone by came to us easily.
The Gondolas gliding softly over the black waters of the Venice canals and waves lapping against the buildings... Only too easy to picture young men with rapiers, ladies in fancy dress, and dangerous men with daggers sneaking around in the shadows of this lost city.
We'll be back in this part of Italy soon.
