Clavell Tower, Dorset Heritage Open Days celebrates England’s architecture and culture by allowing visitors free access to interesting properties that are either not usually open, or would normally charge an entrance fee.
England’s biggest voluntary cultural event also includes tours, and activities that focus on local architecture and heritage.
Around one million people are expected to visit thousands of diverse heritage sites this September, from a hydro power station in Devon to a pyramid in Whitstable.
