Exposition Park, Los Angeles

The Rose Garden fountain in Exposition Park

If you're planning on vacationing in Los Angeles any time soon, be sure to save a day or two and check out Exposition Park. The place is huge! It's over 160 and has a little bit of something for everyone. You can find museums, like the California Science Center or the Natural History Museum, the Rose Garden, and sporting and community events. Want to have some time without the kids? Overnight Adventures gives children the opportunity to learn more by spending the night in a museum, just like the movie! Children are provided with snacks and breakfast as well as memories that will last a lifetime. If your kids are afraid the t-rex might come to life, take the whole family to see an IMAX movie in 3D. Showings begin at 10:30 and run all the way till 5:30pm, trying going during the week to avoid the lines.

If you're more into sports than science, head over to the Los Angeles Sports Arena and see something I'm sure you'll never forget... Lingerie football! Tickets start at around $29, depending on where you want to sit. Be sure to leave all food, drinks and coolers behind, they are strictly prohibited in the arena. There are many events depending on the month you may be traveling, from Bruce Springsteen to Mexican Lucha Libre!

Go a little crazy and enjoy your trip!
