Aint Nothin But… The Blues Bar

Ain’t Nothin’ But, better known as The Blues Bar, has been going since 1993. The venue is probably the only one outside of the United States providing genuine blues every night of the week; it’s certainly unique for London. At Ain’t Nothin’ But, both the audience and the band really enjoy themselves.

Completely free entry on Sundays through Wednesdays, there’s a small cover charge if you arrive after 8.30pm on Friday or Saturday (9.30pm on Thursdays). The music keeps going until late, 1am or later.

There are a few bands that play here regularly, I’ve seen Soul Kitchen twice and they’re really good.

The beer is reasonably priced and there’s simple food and bar snacks if you get hunger pangs.

The Blues Bar is located on Kingly Street, right behind Hamleys / Liberty in Regent Street. Nearest tube is Oxford Circus.
